Eric Tompkins – Assistant Defensive Coordinator
Coach Tompkins grew up on Long Island, NY and following High School stayed local and played for all time great, Lacrosse Hall of Fame Coach Fred Acee. Coach Tompkins then went on to play for the University at Albany Great Danes where he was a three time defensive player of the year, two year captain and voted team MVP his senior year. Coach Tompkins came to Atlanta in 1993 and started playing club lacrosse. Coach Tompkins joined the Lambert coaching staff in 2016 as an Assistant Defensive Coordinator has 2 State Championships in that time. In addition to his time coaching at the high school level, Eric also volunteers his time head coaching multiple teams at the youth & middle school level. Outside of lacrosse, Coach Tompkins (or Dr. Tompkins) owns his own Chiropractic practice in the community and enjoys spending time with his wife Molly & 2 children who are active in lacrosse & cheerleading.
